Finally, finally! Yesterday I went in for an interview and finally got a job offer I was interested in. I’m trading in my suits and heels for jeans, comfy shoes and a camera. I’ll be doing photography for one of the companies that does all of the school pictures. Very cookie cutter, I know. It is only through November but it’s a job that pays that I’m not totally depressed saying yes to! It is a step in the right direction with something I love to do and involves nothing close to Bill.
This is the very first career thing I have done without his opinion, support, or help and it feels pretty good! I’ll still continue to work to get into the modeling agency and find some volunteer place to go. At least I know I have something to do for awhile though. I walked out of the interview yesterday, hopped in my truck and sat there. I was excited to tell someone and the one person I wanted to call I couldn’t. I could hear exactly what he would say ringing in my ears but it wasn’ t the same. I didn’t call anyone, I relished in my own happiness and went and got my nails done.
I’ll be heading back to my home town over the weekend with Dustin to spend the 4th of July. I hope you all have a safe and fun weekend!
